20 Most Horrifically Stupid Things That Ever Happened In WWE
10. The Undertaker Burying Paul Bearer In Cement
Poor Paul Bearer. For whatever reason, WWE loved booking him in some of the most ridiculous storylines they could think of. The worst one was probably in 2004 when The Undertaker took on The Dudley Boys in the main event of the Great American Bash in what was called a "Concrete Crypt Match." Following The Undertaker's win in the main event of the PPV, Taker was forced to bury him in cement. Bearer was sitting there in a clear glass case with nowhere to go. Undertaker didn't want to do it, but Paul Heyman forced him and even though we've seen the Undertaker do all kinds of spooky things in his career, apparently he had no other choice. The PPV ended with Bearer screaming at the top of his lungs, getting buried in cement and nobody was there to help the man. WWE had to do a post on WWE.com after the show to say that Bearer ended up okay. It was such a stupid angle with no payoff or any reason to do it since Undertaker remained a babyface.
