Until just a few short months ago, Demolition held the record for the single longest tag team championship reign in WWE history. Although they started life as WWE's knockoff Road Warriors, Ax and Smash quickly became their own thing, an unbeatable combination that ruled the tag ranks during a period of very stiff competition. Plus, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention their theme song, which really deserves an induction of its own.
Why They're Not In: A little thing called "litigation." Ax and Smash are among the many, many former stars who have joined the class action lawsuit against WWE, alleging that the company failed to protect them from the deleterious effects of repeated head trauma.
