He may/may not appreciate the mention, but WhatCulture's own Andy H Murray recently said that someone 'might break their hand if they punched Vader in the stomach'. That really says it all. Big Van Vader was on the heftier side of the muscle-to-body fat charts, but he was visibly solid.

Vader's earliest run in Japan made him seem even more threatening. His black mask and topless look put eyes on his barrel chest and huge arms straight away. Later, when he wore the 'Vader Time' singlet and red mask, he still had the thickness needed to be one of wrestling's best big men.

The powerlifter physique is often overlooked in pro wrestling these days. Otis is another who has that sort of style, but he couldn't hope to be as big or bad as Vader in his pomp.
