1987-1993 Lex Luger was like a human fridge.

Best of luck finding a coat hanger that'd fit his suit jackets when Lex was on the 'American Hero' media campaign and those shoulders were lurking underneath. Sure, nobody has ever looked less comfortable playing the heroic babyface, but Luger was an absolute unit of a man who took bodybuilding and nutrition seriously.

You need to do some serious benching to get a chest and arms like that. Check out the way Lex's upper pecs pop out in the pic above - he has impressive striations across his neck, shoulders, chest and more. Kevin Nash once remarked that Luger didn't skip any day, let alone leg day, and it showed.

Perhaps unbelievably, he was at his thickest before joining the WWF. Late-80s NWA/WCW Lex had arguably the best physique in all of wrestling. It was certainly the most in-proportion with itself, because his legs were just as huge as his upper body.

Eating properly and working his tail off in the gym helped get Luger that size.
