From a monster to an 'Animal'.

It's been fascinating to hear Batista talk about slimming down in recent times during Hollywood interviews with the press. According to Dave, he cut muscle for several reasons. One has to do with casting for movies, but he's also getting older and doesn't want to carry the same weight he did before. Let's be honest, the man still looks great.

Size was everything to Batista when he was trying to make a name for himself in WWE though, and he'd never be more vascular than he was between 2004-2006. In fact, go back to look at some footage of him next to Triple H, Ric Flair and Randy Orton from '04 during the Evolution days - big Dave made those lads look small by comparison.

His traps, biceps and chest were all huge, but Batista knew legs were important too. It's downright scary to see how muscular he was back then. It's even more astonishing that Batista could move freely and work against quicker wrestlers without looking like a Great Khali-esque lumbering giant.
