20 Possible WWE Royal Rumble 2016 Surprise Entrants

9. Chris Jericho

This is the obligatory "Chris Jericho returns" entry. The shine has all but worn off the upper mid-card jobber at this point in his career and he has done nothing of merit since, well, I can't remember when.

Jericho has often mentioned one of his most favorite moments taking place at the 2013 Royal Rumble, in which he came out second to everyone's surprise.

While a 2016 Rumble return wouldn't generate the response that it did three years ago, fans always seem to appreciate Jericho stepping back into the ring and this January could be the latest situation in which an appearance makes sense.
