20 Reasons Why Last Night's WWE Raw Was An Absolute Mess

2. Those RKO Chants

Look, the Beth Phoenix/Randy Orton segment was a home run. It’ll probably go down as an all-timer. The level of emotion these two generated shouldn’t be possible in a heavily-scripted world like this and while Beth deserves all the credit in the world herself, this was a top-five Orton performance. Ever. He was flawless.

But this goddamn crowd were chanting “RKO!” before Orton even opened his mouth. They were actively calling for a woman to get her head kicked in by a man.

This isn’t a complaint, as WWE can’t control the audience and the whole thing was set up for Randy’s finisher anyway, but a note of how ghoulishly hilarious this is. It’s almost appreciative, really.
