20 Reasons Why WWE Fastlane 2019 Was An Absolute Mess

9. Lamest Run-In Ever?

Hot run-ins are supposed to be... well, hot. They should get the crowd popping and the adrenaline buzzing, bringing a spark of excitement to even the most rudimentary of heel beatdowns, regardless of whether they succeed or fail. The audience need to care about the person taking the beatdown, and therefore care about them being saved, but more importantly, the saviour can't be any old doofus from the rank-and-file.

Which is why Natalya's attempted save of Beth Phoenix went down like a damp fart in an elevator.

Her and Phoenix are close friends, but it's bloody Natalya. You can hear a rat p*ss on cotton when her entrance theme hits at the best of times, so how did whoever put this together expect anything but indifference with Nia Jax and Tamina involved?

Bland, boring dreck.
