20 Reasons Why WWE Superstar Shake-Up 2019 Was An Absolute Mess

The flippancy with which WWE ended several onscreen partnerships in this year's Superstar Shake-Up is something else.

Sanity's was the most hilarious. It began with Eric Young's under-the-radar Raw switch, continued when Killian Dain tweeted that the group with effectively over, then concluded with the news that Alexander Wolfe is probably on his way back to NXT. Former associate Nikki Cross is nowhere to be found.

Chad Gable and Bobby Roode's tag team is no longer a thing either. You might have missed this, given the lack of focus it was given on SmackDown, but Gable has been sent to the blue brand.

Most surprising of all, however, is The Riott Squad, who had Liv Morgan flung off to Tuesday nights. It's a shame, really, because they're a likeable group of performers who consider themselves sisters behind the scenes. Still, these things don't take friendships into account.

At least they didn't separate any married couples this time around...
