20 Reasons Why WWE Superstar Shake-Up 2019 Was An Absolute Mess
4. The Sullivan Switcheroo
Now this was sloppy.
Lars Sullivan was unveiled as a Raw Superstar on Monday night. Speculated by the announcers as he savaged Rey Mysterio, it was made official when WWE included 'The Freak' as part of their online list of every wrestler who'd jumped to the flagship show.
They undid this 24 hours later, with Sullivan's SmackDown appearance making him the only wrestle to jump twice during the same Shake-Up. His unexpected beatdown of R-Truth was greeted by widespread surprise not because it was a particularly effective angle, but because we'd just been told Sully was a Raw guy, but here he was, showing up on Tuesday nights. WWE.com confirmed the big man's latest move later in the evening.
SmackDown is a smarter destination anyway, as Raw already has a major league monster in Braun Strowman. Regardless, moves like this make creative look scatterbrained and clumsy.
