Regardless of whether or not The Undertaker truly was riding away from his 'Deadman' persona at WrestleMania 36, effectively wrestling as Mark Calaway (coloured by old Biker 'Taker' motifs) gave the legend a character he can likely get several years of action out of before he eventually decides to hang it up for good.

This Undertaker is a gnarled, battle-hardened veteran, a Clint Eastwood expy, and a total bad*ss. As he trod his graven battlefield spitting one-liners and putting his forearm through car windows, he felt like a bigger hardman than he has in years. Granted, much of this was down to the cinematic style, but 'Taker still projects in this environment. He came out of it looking great.

'The Deadman' is dead; long live Mark McCool, or whatever.
