The WWE Cinematic Universe debuted with Saturday's brilliant Boneyard Match, as Undertaker and AJ Styles starred in a mini-Hollywood epic we'll be talking about for years to come.

A great deal of graft went into making this so special. It paid off. From the music cues and phenomenal lighting to the daft and entrances and constant trash talk, to the eyeball-popping set pieces and cinematic bumps, this thing was a riot, and completely unlike anything WWE has done in a long, long time.

Let's hope the floodgates of creativity have been opened by this. It's not your grandad's pro-wrestling, this is true, but it is entertaining as hell. Isn't that was WWE is supposed to be all about?
