3. Bray's New Blueprint

'The Fiend' sometimes misfires because much of what defines the character doesn't mesh with the accepted laws and psychology of professional wrestling, as seen in his big matches with Seth Rollins. Bouts with The Miz and Daniel Bryan were more successful and satisfying than those, absolutely, though it's tough to fit a horror movie monster character whose impervious to pain into the in-ring world without damaging finishers and denting auras.

Bouts like the Firefly Fun House may just be his future.

This isn't to say that Bray shouldn't be consigned to studio wrestling forever, but this is definitely where he thrives the most. Here, he can showcase the full breadth of his credibility without having to kick out of endless finishers or get squashed by guys like Bill Goldberg, and doing more of this should go a long way to softening some of the cynicism that has surrounded his character since Hell In A Cell 2019.

Besides, the Firefly Fun House was just straight-up fun. Who wouldn't want more matches in this mould?
