The match was pretty much a copy/paste of Goldberg vs. Braun Strowman, but screw it. Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre yielded the right result.

McIntyre has finally lived up to his old 'Chosen One' moniker by taking the most storied belt in the company from its biggest name. He has slain the most believable pro-wrestler on the planet to cap a tremendous rise that started properly at the Royal Rumble, and that's something worth celebrating.

Drew's got the in-ring chops, the charisma, the character, the look, and the audience's support. No WWE babyface is better equipped for this role. That this 'Mania was so stripped back means his star-making moment may not come until later in his WWE Championship run but regardless, he's the man right now. Let's see how he soars.
