20 Reasons Why WWE WrestleMania 36 Was An Absolute BLAST

13. Finally, Braun

Braun Strowman Universal Title
WWE

Goldberg vs. Braun Strowman was a Bill Goldberg match. Goldberg hit four Spears, Braun kicked out. Braun hit four Powerslams, Braun won. Done.

Such bouts aren't to everyone's taste, but hey, it was short - and yielded a popular result.

Strowman finally has a proper World Championship in his grasp. It could be argued that this moment came a few years too late, sure, but this is his chance to prove he can run as a true top guy on SmackDown and it's going to be interesting to see how that pans out. It also sends Goldberg off into the aether for a while and sets Braun up to face Roman Reigns next, as the duo reprise an awesome 2017 rivalry that continually brought out the best in both of them.

Plenty to look forward to here.
