20 Reasons Why WWE WrestleMania 37 Was An Absolute BLAST

Alexa Bliss The Fiend

Bray Wyatt, Alexa Bliss, and Randy Orton accidentally crafted the comedy match of the year in night two's opening slot, delivering big in the kind of so-bad-it's-good disaster The Fiend specialises in.

This plate of hot bullsh*t was perversely entertaining. Wyatt's lovely Brodie Lee tribute spot aside, it was an omnishambles. The infantilised Bliss unleashed The Fiend from a giant jack-in-the-box (described by Michael Cole as a "box-like structure"), disappeared for a few minutes, and re-emerged at the finish. Suddenly clad in black, icky goop ran down her face as she sat atop the box, distracting Wyatt for the RKO finish in just six minutes.

The lights went out. When they came back on, The Fiend and Alexa were gone. Just like that!

On a core booking level, this whole deal sucks. Bray, the supposed babyface, lost his comeback match in a prelim-length fight, jobbing out to a single RKO where once it took fire to put him down. Terrible stuff, but the aesthetics are so hilariously bad that it doesn't even matter.

Big-brained apologists will trumpet this as good storytelling, saying Bray caught a glimpse of Sister Abigail on Alexa's face, or other such nonsense. They're as insane as those scripting this tripe.

And it's funny as hell.
