6. From Reseda To WrestleMania
There's an argument to be made that Sami Zayn should have challenged Roman Reigns this weekend - and it's a justified one.
But his and Kevin Owens' ascension to the Undisputed Tag Team titles following a gripping, edge-of-your-seat, tag-team-wrestling-is-the-best headliner was more than a satisfactory substitute.
Owens and Zayn came from the independent scene, where they were two pioneers, and trifled through a pool of eternal p*ss handed to them by creative to headline the biggest pro wrestling show of the year in a match vs. The Usos that consummately balanced professional wrestling and sports entertainment. They have the charisma, the look, the in-ring creativity, expertise, and willingness to learn, and the backing of the audience to thrive in WWE; they have had for years.
There's currently no word on what, exactly, WWE's plans are for the former Steenerico as the company's doubles champions. Breaking The Usos' record run on top should not be shunned; Owens and Zayn should continue to uphold the reputation and dignity embellished into the titles by Jimmy and Jey.
