A headliner with no heat is no headliner; Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes were virtually aflame for the nearly 35 minutes they were wrestling.
The end result ultimately deflated a blazing audience response, but the match itself was one of the hottest in WrestleMania history. Fans were feverish, insistent that this was the night in which Rhodes, at last, lifted the big one, in doing so ending one of the modern era's all-timer runs. It wasn't quite a peak Attitude Era 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin vs. The Rock blow-away epic, but it was fundamental in its own right, furthering the stature Reigns' run now holds.
