It's presently impossible to think what's next for John Cena. He'll never be a full-timer again, but will he wrestle again? His night one WrestleMania 39 opener vs. Austin Theory had all the makings of his farewell fight; Theory is a young guy who could do with Cena putting him over (which he did) and it was fought over the United States title, a title that has been synonymous with Cena due to his neat series of 2015 open challenges.

The ending left a lot to be desired, though, but if this was Cena on his way out - or at the very least in one of his final few encounters - then he went out in the most John Cena way imaginable. Taking to the stage to greet a flock of Make-A-Wish Foundation kids, who arose following a Cena-centric Make-A-Wish video package, Cena high-fived them all, giving the gathering their own WrestleMania moment.
