20 Things We Learned From Brock Lesnar On Stone Cold's WWE Network Podcast

16. Not Growing Up A Wrestling Fan

Stone Cold asks The Beast if he was a fan of wrestling growing up and he says that he never watched it. In response to what he did watch, he names Little House on the Prairie. This drew a hearty chuckle from Steve at the imagery of the baddest man in the world watching the tame family program, before he admits that he watched it also. Lesnar said he was never exposed to pro wrestling, adding that they only had two television channels when he was growing up and they only worked part time. The talk shifts to football, and Brock says he played a lot of football in high school at virtually every position. Austin asks if he was good at it and he replies that he had several scholarship offers, as opposed to receiving none for wrestling. He says when he tried out for the NFL he knew after two days that he was a fish out of water, but went through the entire process because he's not a quitter.
