20 Things We Learned From Brock Lesnar On Stone Cold's WWE Network Podcast

15. Breaking Into Wrestling

Brock says he fell into a rut after winning the NCAA championship, calling it a bit of depression where he spent two months hibernating, working out and trying to decide what he wanted to do with his life. His friend that he was living with kicked him out of the basement and drug him back out into the world, and Lesnar started visiting with his wrestling coaches again trying to put a gameplan together. Brock had met people from the WWE before when they were trying to recruit him, but then he goes off on a tangent about how the university had tried to protect him from outside interests so he could stay focused on wrestling. This prompts Austin to move ahead to the point where Brock was signed and training at Ohio Valley Wrestling.
