20 Things We Need To See From Lucha Underground Season 2

18. More Established Tríos Teams

The tríos tournament arc was a highlight of the first season, but several of the teams were thrown together at the whim of Dario Cueto. I'm the last person to ever question the promotional genius of El Jefe, but now that the division is firmly established, we're going to need more than three regular teams. Wait, Bael got killed by a cage monster. We're going to need more than two regular teams.

I was personally a fan of the Texano/Cage/King Cuerno supervillain team-up, but Texano's busy being Lucha Underground's rope-swinging DDP. We also know that Drago and Aero Star have made some kind of cryptozoological pact, so let's put Jack Evans in there with goat legs, you know?
