Alberto El Patrón has had a career resurgence in Lucha Underground, no question about it. He's finally managed to channel all the charisma and fire that was missing during most of his WWE run. However, he has lost the one thing that absolutely, 100% worked: his personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez.

Obviously, the LU universe (LUniverse?) is a grim and gritty place, and it could prove challenging to integrate everyone's favorite comical manservant. But remember, wrestling is a three ring circus, and if you're not into the acrobats maybe you'll dig the clowns. Besides, you tell me to my face that you don't want to see Ricardo run out to stop Melina from interfering in an AEP/Johnny Mundo match and split his pants trying to mock her entrance.
