Lucha Underground

When TNA imported Christian, it was really cool. He was a fantastic wrestler that had been consistently underutilized by WWE, and it was great seeing him interact with a myriad of new opponents, like AJ Styles, Team Canada and Samoa Joe. Then Kurt Angle showed up, and Booker T, and Rob Van Dam, and Mick Foley and Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan. TNA became a bad episode of SmackDown, and consequently no fun to watch.

Lucha Underground hasn't made too many of TNA's mistakes, so let's hope they avoid this one as well. Bringing Alberto El Patrón into the Temple was a coup, but also a no-brainier: he's AAA's current top champion, and also a huge hero to the Latino demographic due to the circumstances surrounding his WWE exit. Rey Mysterio is the most recognizable luchador on the planet, so if LU can net him, they should. What they shouldn't do is start scooping up any name talent that's not already signed to WWE, TNA or GFW. It'd be cool to see a match or two from RVD or Chris Sabin or whatever, but not if it means Willie Mack has to go away, you know?
