20 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About The Attitude Era

11. Bubba Ray Dudley's Powerbomb Crusade

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTmdiF0johw Male on female violence is something you're not going to see for love nor money in PG WWE but was fairly commonplace back in the day, including from The Rock to Stephanie McMahon at Wrestlemania 2000. That's a moment which glows in new light in the wake of the Rock/Rousey/HHH/Stephanie promo from Santa Clara. In that same year 2000, Bubba Ray Dudley began a 3-month crusade to powerbomb every single WWE diva on the roster through tables. It was a very hot storyline which the ravenous Attitude Era crows ate up, turning the heel Dudleys babyface in the process. Considering how big of a deal Chris Jericho's punch to Rebecca at Summerslam 2008 was, Attitude Era levels of inter-gender violence seem absurd in comparison.
