20 Things You Probably Missed From WWE Raw (July 12)

8. Sheamus’ Air Punches

Sheamus Air Punches

Security burst onto the scene backstage during Sheamus' stiff beatdown on Humberto Carrillo, and they almost ate some knuckle sandwiches for their trouble. Hilariously though, the heel started swinging wildly and punched the air instead as he ranted and raved.

One of the agents (could've been Shane Helms) backed off like Mike Tyson was throwing bombs. Stand back, there's a hurricane coming through.

7. Did You Know?

Sheamus Humberto Carrillo Nose

WWE appears to have deviated from usual practice by throwing some little storyline bits onto their entrance graphics. Maybe they're taking a page from AEW's playbook, or perhaps the company just thinks this is a neat way to fill in gaps.

Or beat people over the head with the same info.

Sheamus had already cut a promo backstage with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville about breaking his nose. Then, both his graphic and Carrillo's noted that Humberto had broken the big fella's beak. Then, Sheamus roared at his foe for breaking his nose.

Hey, did you know that Sheamus broke his nose?

6. What A Bump

At least this bump looked sweet.

WWE's slow-motion replay of Sheamus' match-winning Brogue Kick looked like it took Humberto's head clean off his shoulders. The Mexican babyface bumped like an absolute champ for the move - the way Carrillo kicked his legs right up into the air was awesome.

That, mind you, wasn't the only spectacular fall of the night...
