20 Times WWE Was An Absolute Mess In 2019

19. Laughable Lafayette

Quiet WWE crowds are nothing new, but the library-like atmosphere that the 18 February episode in Lafayette, LA played out to was so extreme it prompted WWE to shoot on the ticket-buying public via goofball broadcaster Pat McAfee a few days later.

This show was a trip. The performances weren't all bad and the effort levels were mostly there, but almost everything was received with silence. Nobody gave a hoot. There was no energy, passion, or enthusiasm, and what was supposed to be a triumphant "standing tall" for babyface champion Ronda Rousey (the company's biggest mainstream star) stood out the most. 'The Baddest Woman on the Planet' got nothing.

Unsurprisingly, WWE are yet to return to Lafayette.
