20 UFC Prospects Destined For Big Things In 2020

8. Yadong Song

With a population of over one billion people, China has long been a place that the UFC have wanted to get a foothold in. They might have their best possible chance with bantamweight knockout artist Yadong Song.

Along with strawweight phenom Weili Zhang, Song is in prime position to become one of the biggest MMA stars in China, and for good reason too. The 21-year old not only has the talent to be a contender at 135lb, he also has the personality to become a huge star in the division.

Firstly, Song has some serious punching power for a bantamweight. In his last fight, he landed a relatively short punch that left Alejandro Perez in a heap on the canvas. He hits with a ferocity that not many in his weight class would be able to handle, making him a major threat.

He's also made the incredibly smart choice for moving over to legendary gym Team Alpha Male. The Sacramento based facility has helped create some of the best lighter-weight fighters to compete in MMA, so being under the tutelage of the veterans like Urijah Faber and more will be incredibly beneficial for him.

If he can fulfill his potential and win a title, we could be looking at the future of the bantamweight division.
