20 UFC Prospects Destined For Big Things In 2020

2. Tatiana Suarez

The UFC's 115 lb division has quickly become a weight class filled with fantastic talent. Despite the abundance of great female fighters, there's one who truly stands out among the rest and that is Tatiana Suarez.

The 28-year old from California grew up wrestling and became so good that she nearly made into 2012 Olympic wrestling team. However, her wrestling ambitions ended when she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and suffered recurring neck injuries. While her wrestling career was over, her MMA journey was just beginning.

So far, she's gone on an absolute rampage inside the UFC, winning the 23rd season of The Ultimate Fighter, smashing former strawweight champion, Carla Esparza, and looking as formidable an opponent as anyone else in her division.

While her wrestling and jiu-jitsu has been more than enough to defeat her opponents, she's shown some flaws in her striking. However, Suarez is an incredible athlete and once the striking part of the game truly clicks with her, she might become unstoppable.
