20 Worst WWE Matches Since 2000

5. Kaitlyn Vs. Maxine (NXT - 19th Oct, 2010)

NXT has been WWE's most consistent brand for several years now, but its early days as a reality show produced countless hours of irredeemable television, particularly during its third season.

This clash between Kaitlyn and Maxine represents rock bottom To start, both wrestlers looked pensive and unsure of themselves before the bell rang, and it kicked off with one of the sloppiest back suplexes you'll ever see. The problems escalated from thereon out, with Maxine botching a big boot and a clothesline, Kaitlyn selling a hair-whip like a gunshot wound, and heel announcer Michael Cole literally leaving the booth to take a phone call halfway through.

Again, the clash only lasted six minutes, but it should never have made it to television. Neither woman was ready for this spot. Forcing them to go through with this charade totally exposed them, and it didn't help that Cole and his partner, Josh Mathews, spent the entire runtime s***ting on their efforts. Kaitlyn would thankfully develop into a serviceable main roster worker, washing away most fans' recollections of this early-career horror show, but her opponent never made it beyond developmental.
