4. Bray Wyatt Vs. Randy Orton (Payback 2017)

Finally, we reach the true nadir or Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt's historically bad 2017 feud: the House Of Horrors.

WWE gave little indication of what the bout would actually entail prior to the event. This wasn't done to build intrigue, but because they themselves had no idea what they were going to do with the gimmick, as confirmed when they circulated a feedback form asking for suggestions before the show. What we ended up getting was a soulless haunted house brawl that was clearly designed to capture the Broken Hardys' Final Deletion magic, but came off campy, absurd, and utterly ridiculous.

It was essentially a lame walk-and-brawl filmed on set during a live action Scooby Doo episode, with Wyatt at his hokey worst, monologuing one of his trademark gaspy promos throughout the opening stages. His spooky bulls*** couldn't unsettle 'The Viper', but he was able to squash him beneath a fridge, allowing 'The Eater Of Worlds' to escape to the arena. Randy followed, and they finished their match inside the ring, with Bray triumphing through Jinder Mahal's interference.

This thing was always going to be a catastrophe, but it somehow came out worse than even the biggest cynics could've anticipated.
