20 Worst WWE Tag Team Champions Ever

19. The Bodydonnas

The tag team landscape in 1996 was not pretty. In fact, it looked very much like a bomb had gone off, leaving in its wake lackluster B- and C-level teams that had no right competing for the tag titles, let alone winning them. With a roster devoid of quality teams and championship material, Vince McMahon did what he had to in order to maintain the division. Enter the Bodydonnas, a team of fitness gurus Skip and "twin" Zip. Managed by the vivacious Sunny, they were positioned as the lead heels in the tag team scene. Unfortunately the duo was incredibly gimmicky and the idea of Skip and Zip deceiving the referee when they were not built alike, let alone actually looking alike outside of a bleach blonde buzz cut, While both men were above average technicians, the primary competition was the Godwinns. When one factors that with the gimmick, the look and the ridiculous notion that they could use twin magic to dupe the official, it added up to a disappointing run with the titles that never really allowed Skip and Zip to prove just how good they actually were from bell to bell. That Sunny, the element keeping them over with the audience, soon split from them in favor of chasing the tag titles from team to team, only doomed them to failure.
