20 Worst WWE Tag Team Champions Ever

18. Charlie Haas And Rico

The team of Charlie Haas and Rico never would have existed had the depth of the SmackDown roster been better than what it was in the spring of 2004. Haas was left to go it alone, thanks to the drafting of partner Shelton Benjamin to Raw, while Rico was on the verge of finding new life on the blue brand after serving as a jobber on the A-show. Together, the duo made for a fun odd couple tandem but, unfortunately, WWE Creative got the swell idea to put the tag titles on them. While popular, the team was nowhere near championship material and the titles were devalued as commentators Michael Cole and Tazz paid closer attention to the hijinx that occurred between the partners than the value of the championships themselves. The team reigned as champions for just under two months, proving to be but a footnote in the history of the tag titles. And rightfully so.
