20 Worst WWE Tag Team Champions Ever

16. The Right To Censor

There is no denying that the Right to Censor was one of the most hated factions in the history of WWE. Hellbent on bringing an end to the edginess that had become such a part of the company's programming during the Attitude Era, they irritated fans each and every Monday night. The loudmouthed Steven Richards decried the violence and vulgarity of the show while Ivory was highly critical of the overt sexuality displayed by the WWE Divas. With Val Venis, Bull Buchanan and The Goodfather completing the group, it was a more-than effective midcard act. But the writing staff took things a step too far by putting Goodfather and Buchanan over the Hardy Boyz for the WWE Tag Team Championships. See, the tag team division was at its peak, delivering consistently great action involving the aforementioned Hardys, Edge and Christian and the Dudleys. Add in the bruisers APA and the heavyweights Test and Albert, not to mention the fan-favorite Too Cool, and you had one of the most talented divisions ever touted by WWE. Buchanan and Goodfather failed to maintain the quality set forth by their peers so it was no surprise when their run as champions was cut as short as it was, lasting just 34 days.
