20 Worst WWE Tag Team Champions Ever

14. Diamond Dallas Page And Kanyon

The Invasion angle had been declared D.O.A. by the time Diamond Dallas Page and Kanyon looked to wrap up their rivalry with The Undertaker and Kane, a rivalry that saw them regularly pummeled and punished by the Brothers of Destruction. No longer a legitimate threat to make any noticeable impact on WWE programming thanks to awful booking that saw them play punching bag to the bigger, badder Vince McMahon-created stars, the team failed to make any noticeable impact as tag champions when they defeated Bradshaw and Faarooq, the APA. With Kane and Undertaker the current WCW tag champions, must understood that Page and Kanyon's victory left them sitting ducks, the victims of an impending ass kicking by the baddest men on the WWE side of things. And at SummerSlam in August 2001, that is exactly what happened. The heels were brutalized, pummeled and mercilessly dispatched by Undertaker and Kane. Page, in particular, took a nasty beating as the payoff to the angle that saw him stalk the Phenom's wife Sara months earlier. With a championship reign spanning just 12 days, the sole reasoning behind it being the ultimate massacre that unfolded on that hot August night in San Jose, California, it is difficult to deny Page and Kanyon's placement on this list. If anything, the fact that they were still involved in a fairly high-profile program kept them from ranking higher.
