20 Worst WWE Wrestlers Since 2000

1. The Great Khali

Who other than The Great Khali - a man who struggled to walk down the ramp, let alone work a match - could possibly top such a list? The massive Indian remains the benchmark against which all other failed giants are compared, but while many were similarly atrocious between the ropes, none plied their trade in such a huge spotlight for as long as the 'Punjabi Playboy' did.

Khali's push amplifies his egregiousness. His monstrous size meant the company threw him into a feud with The Undertaker from day one, and he kept flirting with the main event scene for much of his early run. It peaked in 2007, when Khali was inexplicably crowned World Heavyweight Champion. A short reign, it was nonetheless long enough for him to go down as one of the worst title-holders of all time, with his plodding main events poisoning many a card.

Drifting into a freak show role towards the end of his run favoured Khali, but he was still the worst wrestler in the company, with his performances bringing more pain to the audiences (and the man himself, apparently) than his opponents. We should all thank the heavens that he didn't return to a full-time role after re-emerging at Battleground 2017.
