20 Worst WWE Wrestlers Since 2000

14. Luther Reigns

His namesake, Roman, might be the most divisive wrestler in WWE today, but 'The Big Dog' is in a completely different universe to Luther Reigns as far as talent goes.

The former Horshu was given an immediate rub as part of Team Angle in 2004. This allowed him to work against esteemed opposition like Eddie Guerrero and Big Show from day one, though he was also used as a henchman.

A big push seemed to be on the cards in early 2005, when Reigns and Mark Jindrak were booked against The Undertaker, with Luther wrestling 'The Deadman' in a truly awful bout at that year's No Way Out pay-per-view. This 12-minute failure of a match made it clear that Luther wasn't cut out for a big singles run, yet WWE kept him in the spotlight in the build to WrestleMania 21, though he fell off shortly after. By May, he'd been relegated to Velocity - a far more appropriate stage for his "talents."

Reigns wrestled only two independent bouts before retiring later that year, and though his run was short, he's ultimately remembered as an over-exposed Ruthless Aggression dud.
