20 Wrestlers For WWE's Latin American Tournament

5. Sin Cara (Mexico)

Somehow, the Sin Cara gimmick is still alive in WWE. Hunico must have wondered if officials were ribbing him when they suggested he replace Místico under the hood in 2011 and try to rescue a character that looked a lost cause mere months after debuting. Close to 7 years on, Sin Cara is still around despite dropping to opening match status.

The trademark blue mask's wing tips have been retired in favour of black and red ones that take fan minds away from the botched Sin Cara gimmick. It's a wonder WWE haven't thought about changing Cara's name though. Surely that'd be the first port of call to give the new man playing it a fighting chance.

7 years of mediocrity aside, Cara deserves the chance to thrive in a tournament that seems tailor-made for him. He rarely gets the chance to show what a solid worker he is. That (to us) is why this tournament exists: it'll put on good wrestling matches.

Cara can have those when WWE let him.
