Karrion Kross is still waiting for his moment on WWE's main roster, but at least he has more consistency now than he did first time around under Vince McMahon. Annoyingly, the old boss looked at a top heel on NXT and turned him into a joke on Raw, then released Kross from contract. Urgh.

Triple H knew how to book Karrion during his NXT peak. Kross burst onto the scene with Scarlett by winning his first TV squash vs. Leon Ruff on the 6 May 2020 episode of black n' gold. Four months later, he was beating Keith Lee at TakeOver XXX to become new NXT Champion, but injuries robbed him of a lengthy reign.

That win over Lee was Karrion's 7th match since joining WWE.
