12. Triple H Seriously Dissed Ric Flair Before They Met

In a radio interview in 1998, Triple H was utterly dismissive of the WWF's attempts to sign Ric Flair during his legal issues with WCW. His star on the rise, the man who would become the Game didn't sugar coat his opinion, stating that he believed that the Nature Boy should retire.

At the time, Flair was forty-nine. You'll notice that since becoming part of the Evolution stable together in 2003, Flair and HHH have been best buddies, fawning over one another like high school sweethearts.

You'll also notice that when he more or less booked himself to win the 2016 Royal Rumble and headline WrestleMania 32 as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Triple H was forty-six years old. I'll just leave it at that.
