20 Wrestling Superstars That Totally Rocked

12. Brodus Clay And The Funkadactyls

When WWE began running vignettes promoting the return of Brodus Clay in late 2011, fans were expecting a monster. What they got... was pure, unbridled funk. As "The Funkasaurus," Clay was joined by "The Funkadactyls" Naomi and Cameron, all dancing their way towards the ring to "Somebody Call My Momma." People warmed up to it, at least for a while, though it brought Clay nothing greater than a spot in a Scooby-Doo animated movie, even after forming the tag team "Tons of Funk" with Tensai. Interestingly, it would be music that brought about Clay's undoing in WWE. Angered by newcomer Xavier Woods "stealing" his entrance- music, Funkadactyls, and all- (R-Truth swears he asked on Woods' behalf first), Clay became bitter and enraged towards the duo, ultimately costing him his friendship with Tensai and his entourage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vY5kgRMR2RM For a time, the Funkadactyls carried on the gimmick until their split in mid-2014, leaving Naomi to carry on the funk all by her lonesome.
