14. Josh Matthews Insults Every Other Wrestling Promotion In The World
During The Wolves' entrance for their match against The Revolution, Josh Matthews can't resist getting in a potshot at not just the WWE but basically every other wrestling promotion out there right now. He says, "You watch tag team wrestling from all over the world, you watch other companies with their tag team competitors, but for my money, there's not a better tag team in the world than Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards, The Wolves, and they will continue to prove that every week here on Wednesday night Impact." On one hand it might seem like an innocent comment to big-up the (admittedly awesome) tag team, but given Matthews' relatively acrimonious relationship with the WWE and the "other companies" comment, it's hard not to feel like he was taking a shot at Vince McMahon's tag team division in particular.
