In what was a shocking development, it looked like the Macho Man might have been about to pin Sting but as the referee went to count, Hollywood Hogan ran in and stopped the pinfall from taking place. Then there was a huge stare-down between the former Mega Powers as the new World order seemed like they were about to burst, with the added element of Sting waiting patiently behind Hogan, clearly looking for a fight.
