Until this episode, all 1998 Raws seem to have been dominated by Steve Austin doing whatever he wants, whenever he wants. This week is a complete oddity as, rather than popping up all over the show (as he has on every other occasion), Austin stays in the back until one final closing segment. He doesn't even stun anybody. He doesn't even stun anybody. The crowd are still absolutely molten for the Rattlesnake, of course, but it's not quite the same. Hopefully next week he gets back to his ass-kicking ways.
