The crowd in Washington wasn't flat by any means in the early stages of the show but Cesaro's appearance took their noise to a completely new level. The team of Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are still widely recognised as the best in the tag team division, and their superiority over the other teams see them appreciated almost wherever they go. However, it is clear to see that the majority of that adoration was for the Swiss Superman rather than Kidd, who has been laid on the injury shelf for a prolonged period following surgery on his neck. Could you see the Canadian receiving a similar response to Cesaro's on RAW? Unlikely. In the build up to the former United State Champion's many attempts at his big swing, the crowd were going quite literally bananas. Hopefully it showed Vince McMahon et al the potential Cesaro has. While losing the team of Cesaro and Kidd would be detrimental to the tag team division as a whole, surely the benefits the company would see by elevating Cesaro to the main event level on a more regular basis would more that justify the decision.
