On the March 12, 2010 episode of Smackdown, Rey Mysterio brought his entire family to the ring (for some reason) and got the crowd to sing happy birthday to his daughter Aaliyah, who had just turned nine. Soon enough the festivities were (thankfully) interrupted by CM Punk and his Straight Edge Society. Punk stepped into the ring and sang happy birthday to Aaliyah, who was visibly disturbed by the whole thing. Punk challenged Mysterio to a match on the show (as well as at WrestleMania 26) and told Aaliyah that his birthday present to her would be allowing her to close her eyes as she beats her dad to a pulp. Punk continued to berate him for a few more minutes, before the Mysterio clan finally left the ringside area as Punk got down on his knees and again sang happy birthday to young Aaliyah. Well, that was damn creepy. And Rey Mysterio finally learned to keep his family out of the wrestling ring.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
