20 WTF Moments In Stone Cold Steve Austin's WWE Career

8. Changing His Theme Music

For some wrestlers, the theme song makes the man. Within the first second that that music hits, you know just who is coming out to the ring. With Stone Cold, that was undoubtedly the case. Fans would always go berserk when they heard that familiar glass breaking. Austin's theme was always a situation of "if it ain't broke, why fix it?". However, WWE decided to give it a try anyway, and not once, but twice. First there was the Alliance theme song, which wanted very much to be like Austin's original, including different, far less enthusiastic glass breaking and a mildly catchy guitar riff. It just wasn't the same though. Then, in 2002, WWE released a CD called Forceable Entry, which featured the likes of Marilyn Manson, Sevendust, Disturbed, Kid Rock, Rob Zombie, Drowning Pool, Creed, and Our Lady Peace re-imagining your Superstars' favorite tunes. Disturbed did a song for Austin called, appropriately, "Glass Shatters." It's not bad by any means, but it didn't fit for Austin's entrance that well. The tune H-Blockx wrote for him, "Oh Hell Yeah," would have been better. It didn't take long for WWE to realize that Austin's original was the best choice and revert back to it.
