20 WTF Moments In Stone Cold Steve Austin's WWE Career

15. Making Fun Of Hulk Hogan And Eric Bischoff In ECW

Although it may not be a popular choice to even talk about Hulk Hogan these days, to many people in the 1990s, he was still a beloved hero. Austin, as it will be mentioned again, never seemed to be too fond of the Hulkster, as proved in some promos he did upon his arrival to ECW in 1995. Still getting over that same nagging injury that had led to his release from WCW, Austin dressed as the Hulkster, complete with a wig and yellow tank top, and began degrading himself, insisting that "Austin can't get it done in ECW" while peppering in a few "brothers" for good measure. Still bitter towards his old boss, Stone Cold even put on a button-down business shirt and suit jacket (but funnily enough no pants, just wrestling trunks) and a terrible black wig to make fun of Eric Bischoff. He called WCW an organization "where the big boys play with each other" and referred to Monday Nitro as Monday Nyquil. While both were moments of pure venting and are a little sad to watch today, one thing was for certain, and that was that Austin was coming into his own when it came to delivering promos.
