Edge may have a pretty sturdy record of 2-2 inside the Elimination Chamber, but one of those defeats saw him pinned in a record amount of time.
At No Way Out 2009, Edge entered the Chamber as champion. But after just two minutes and 59 seconds, he was rolled up by Jeff Hardy for the 1-2-3. That meant that Hardy was without an opponent for the remaining two minutes ahead of the first pod’s opening—something that had previously never happened in WWE history.
Of course, where there’s an unwanted record, R-Truth can’t be too far away. His elimination in three minutes and 34 seconds at Elimination Chamber came close to saving Edge’s blushes, but not quite close enough.
