And so does the wait for card that features nothing else but singles matches.
At every single Extreme Rules PPV, there has been some kind of multi-participant match thrown into the mix—from six-man tags to Triple Threats to gauntlet matches.
At the time of writing though, this year’s card features a full bill of singles bouts. The tag title match was expected to change that, but having been demoted to the pre-show, the singles-only card remains intact.
That could yet change though, especially with question marks over the Intercontinental Championship situation.
